A man who settles on his barber comes back like clockwork. A fade holds three weeks, a classic cut four. When week five goes by with no word from him, that is rarely an accident: either he forgot, or he has found another place two blocks down.

In a salon with irregular visits you cannot say when a client is due. In a barbershop you can work it out to the day. Which is why reminders and win-back pay off here better than anywhere else, and why they are worth automating.

What an AI receptionist does in a barbershop

• Answers in Direct and on WhatsApp from your price list: what a fade costs, what the beard costs, who is free on Saturday, where to park.
